Manufacturing Standards

Femix Alpha, Femix Omega and Femix Relief are manufactured under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, which govern the quality management, hygiene, documentation and testing procedures used throughout production.

Food Supplement Regulation

Femix products are food supplements (Nahrungsergänzungsmittel) within the meaning of EU Directive 2002/46/EC and the German Food Supplements Ordinance (Nahrungsergänzungsmittelverordnung, NemV). As food supplements, they:

• are intended to supplement the normal diet and are not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle;
• must not exceed the stated daily intake (Verzehrempfehlung) printed on the packaging;
• should be kept out of the reach of young children; and
• are recommended for use under the guidance of a physician, pharmacist or midwife, particularly during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Nutrient Labeling

The nutrient content declared for each Femix product — shown as a percentage of the Nutrient Reference Value (%NRV) on every composition table on this site — is calculated in accordance with EU Regulation 1169/2011 on the provision of food information to consumers.

Health Claims

Where this website states that a nutrient "contributes to" or "supports" a particular bodily function (for example, that folic acid contributes to normal maternal tissue growth in pregnancy), these are authorized health claims under EU Regulation 1924/2006 on nutrition and health claims made on foods, reproduced from the corresponding claim published for each product on centaxpharma.com.
