From the very first day, an adequate nutrient supply is essential for life. Nutrients such as vitamins and minerals are involved in numerous metabolic processes and therefore play an important role in our development. Because the body cannot produce them itself, they must be obtained in sufficient amounts through diet. Certain life stages increase nutrient requirements — among them pregnancy and breastfeeding, since the mother's body must also provide for the growing child during this time.

Femix Omega combines important vitamins and minerals and helps meet the increased nutrient requirements during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Femix Omega contains folic acid as (6S)-methyltetrahydrofolate (MTHF). This form of folic acid is already active and therefore more readily available to the body. Folic acid plays an important role in cell division, blood formation and the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy. Folic acid, along with several other nutrients in the formula, can also help reduce tiredness.

In addition to a broad range of vitamins and minerals, Femix Omega also contains the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. Maternal intake of DHA contributes to the normal development of the brain and eyes of the fetus and breastfed infant. This beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg DHA, in addition to the recommended daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids for adults (250 mg DHA and EPA).

Usage

How to Use

Take one capsule daily with fluid, during or after a meal. Swallow whole; do not chew.

Do not exceed the stated daily intake. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of children and store below 25 °C.
